Commission Process
What do I make?
I use embroidery thread and paint to create completely unique works of art that remember special places and landscapes.
How to commission an embroidery of a treasured destination or memory:
Send me a message through my Etsy shop with your idea and a picture of what you would like me to embroider. Once the commission has been approved you can order it directly on my Etsy shop.
How long does it take?
Expect 6-8 weeks for completion.
Pricing?
6 inch hoop $350
8 inch hoop $400
(Different shapes and sizes may be possible upon request)
Materials
-Stitched with DMC embroidery floss
-Painted with Holbein acrylic gouache and watercolor
-Cotton fabric is stretched through hand painted, wooden embroidery hoops.
Photograph guidelines
-The source photograph must be clear and of the desired composition. (I do not make composite compositions based on multiple photos).
-Photograph must be representative of desired colors.
-At this time I do not embroider people or animals (exceptions can be made if they are small and in the distance).
